Hi, I’m Merel
I’m a Dutch designer who swapped grey skies for sunny Palma — and never looked back. Mallorca sneaks into everything I make: the plants, the tiles, the light hitting a white wall at five in the afternoon. Interiorisla started as a way to get that feeling onto paper, and grew into a full collection of bold, graphic prints that now ship all over the world.
Every design starts as an original drawing. No stock art, no filter over someone else’s photo — just shapes, colour and a lot of happy experimenting.

Every print is drawn by me, here in Palma. If you spot a lobster, a palm or a checkered vase, that’s the island talking.
