Short version: I only collect the personal data I need to take your order, get your print to you and answer your questions. I do not sell your data. Below you can read the details.

Who I am

This website is run by Merel Takken, trading as Interiorisla, based at Carrer de les Monges, 2, 2ºA, Centre, 07001 Palma, Balearic Islands, Spain. I am responsible for your personal data. You can reach me at merel@interiorisla.com.

What data I collect, and why

  • When you place an order: your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number (if you give one) and the details of your order. I need this to process and deliver your order and to keep my administration.
  • When you pay: payments are handled by Stripe. I never see or store your full card details.
  • When you contact me: your name, email address and message, through the contact form or by email. I use this to reply to you.
  • When you create an account: your name, email address and order history, so you can check your orders.
  • Technical data: your IP address and basic browser information, which my hosting and security tools process to keep the website working and safe.

Who I share your data with

I only share data with the partners I need to run the shop:

  • My print and delivery partners, meaning the local print studios and carriers that make and deliver your order, so your print can be made close to you and delivered. They receive your name, delivery address, phone number and email address.
  • Stripe, for processing payments.
  • My hosting and website providers, who store the website and its data.
  • My email and backup services, which are used to send and safely store website and order information.
  • Authorities or advisers, only when the law requires it or when I need to protect my rights.

Some of these partners are located outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, your data is protected by appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Legal basis

I process your data because it is needed to carry out our agreement (your order), because the law requires me to keep certain records (for example for bookkeeping and tax), because I have a legitimate interest in keeping my shop secure and answering your questions, and, where needed, because you gave me your consent.

How long I keep your data

I keep your data no longer than needed for the purposes above. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as the law requires me to keep them. Messages you send me are kept for as long as needed to help you, and are deleted after that.

Cookies

This website uses only the cookies needed to make the shop work, such as remembering what is in your cart during checkout. I do not use advertising cookies. If I ever add analytics or other tracking, I will ask for your consent where needed and update this page.

Your rights

You have the right to ask me for access to your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to limit or object to how I use it, and to receive a copy of it. Just email me at merel@interiorisla.com and I will get back to you as soon as I can. If you are not happy with how I handle your data, you can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es), or to the authority in your own country.

I may update this page from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
